Privacy Policy

The short version

ElegantFonts is designed to know as little about you as possible. The text you type into our generators is transformed entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers. We have no accounts, no database of user content, and we do not sell data. The only third-party service is Google Analytics, described below, which measures anonymous page visits — it never sees your text.

What stays on your device

• Your input text — processed locally by JavaScript; never transmitted.
• Favorite styles — stored in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. You can clear them anytime via your browser settings.
• Draft text — temporarily kept in session storage so navigating back does not lose what you typed. It disappears when the tab closes.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-JLFB2XH2LS) to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used, so we can improve it. It records anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, browser and device type, and approximate region. It does not receive the text you type into the generators, your favorites, or any personal information. You can opt out with Google's Analytics Opt-out browser add-on or by blocking analytics in your browser settings.

What we do not do

• No user accounts or passwords.
• No third-party text-processing APIs receive your input.
• No advertising networks or ad trackers.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Hosting and logs

The site is served as static files. Like any web host, our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses and requested pages) for security and reliability. These logs are not linked to the text you generate.

Changes to this policy

If we add any further data collection beyond what is described here, this policy will be updated first and the change will be disclosed plainly. We will never claim to be tracker-free while running trackers.
